Getting Your Business Involved

Your business can be a lifeline for survivors in our community. Becoming a Porchlight location is simple but can have a profound impact. By offering a discreet place for survivors to use a phone or wait for help, your business will contribute to a community-wide effort to reduce violence and support vulnerable individuals.

The Porchlight Project requires minimal resources from participating businesses:

  1. A phone that survivors can use to call crisis services
  2. A visible Porchlight sticker sign in your window indicating you are a discreet and welcoming space
  3. Basic staff training to help your employees understand how to respond compassionately and discreetly if someone asks for help.
